
WHO IS J MONET?
A native of the DC Metropolitan Area, Jasmine has always been passionate about helping her local community.
​
Jasmine graduated with honors from Montgomery College with an Associates of Science in Business. Following, she graduated with Bachelors degrees in Accounting & Marketing from The University of Maryland, College Park. Throughout her entire collegiate career, she volunteered with several nonprofit and local companies including UMD Concessions, Pauperism Project, Change the World Nonprofit Consulting, National Association of Black Accountants, and The American Marketing Association.

Post collegiate, she went on to work in the Audit sector of a Bethesda-based public accounting firm. While there, she was an innovative leader in their volunteer committee, women's network, and diversity & inclusion team. One of her most memorable volunteer projects was teaching financial literacy at Title 1 elementary schools. As a minority, Jasmine understands the importance of money management and the opportunities it provides. She is passionate about sparking the light in others, especially young black girls who are interested in STEM.
Beyond Accounting, she has volunteered for Martha's Table, Nourish Now, and Locust Grove Nature Center as well as hosted clothing drives for Dress for Success and A Wider Circle.
